Nursing student of St. Therese College jumped off the third floor inside Atrium mall in General Luna St., Iloilo City. The Atrium mall suicide happened last Tuesday morning November 15, 2011. The witnesses said that they saw the nursing student walking and walking back and fort through the pathway then sitting on the bench something she was in troubled and distressed. After few minutes, they saw the student standing and ready to jump off the steel railings. Someone tried to grab and help her but too late to catch her. The nursing student ended her life without a doubt found herself at the first floor of the Atrium mall. She tried to run off to hospital but she was dead on arrival.
The news confirmed that the nursing student is Vina Marie Del Rosario who committed suicide in the third floor level inside the Atrium mall Iloilo City. The reason why Vina Marie Del Rosario committed suicide is due to school pressures. Some of her friends said that she had a problem with her thesis and rushed herself to finish and to pass it on the deadline. The other side, her family also confirmed that she had a mental problem and supposed pressures in school particularly her thesis work. The Atrium mall suicide is the first time in Iloilo City. Hope it won't happened again. For Vina Marie Del Rosario, she may be rest in peace.
